A very unusual and intersting design, the original saree belonged to Malavika's mother, it was her wedding saree . Pavithra had never seen a saree like this , the buttas were unusual but the saree pallu is what caught her attention. The pallu has Krishna sitting on a branch with two elephants with garlands ,it also has meena work in three colours. The original was probably woven near Melkote . The saree is woven in pure silk and has threadwork and zari , it comes with a matching blouse piece .
