A very unusual and intersting design, the original saree belonged to Malavika's mother, it was her wedding saree . Pavithra had never seen a saree like this , the buttas were unusual but the saree pallu is what caught her attention. The pallu has Krishna sitting on a branch with two elephants with garlands ,it also has meena work in three colours. The original was probably woven near Dodballapura. The saree is woven in pure silk and has threadwork and zari , it comes with a matching blouse piece .
