This saree is a recreation of an heirloom saree that is from our personal collection. The original is an Armoor from Nizamabad district, you will see influences of Paithani and Gadwal in the design. What is interesting is the fish motifs woven in the pallu that are very unusual. Also the Ambis at the beginning of the pallu have meena work in them. The saree has been woven in pure silk and zari and comes with a matching blouse piece.
