A revival of a dear patron's saree, the Anjali Sowbhagyavathi Saree has the blessings 'Sowbhagyavathi Bhava' woven into the pallu.We believe the original must have come from Maharashtra. The blessings on the pallu are woven in a small size that don't make it very obvious , it was created to look like a design pattern. The saree also has peacock motifs in a row just before the actual pallu starts.The saree is handwoven in pure silk and pure zari,and has a blouse piece in the same colour as the pallu.
