This saree is a design that Pavithra conceptualized this year. She used a traditional motif, the veldari and made it contemporary by not putting a border. The fabric of the saree is a silk cotton, the warp being pure silk and the weft pure cotton. It is a very comfortable fabric and very easy to maintain. The saree is handwoven, has no zari and comes with a blouse piece.
